The Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association (GMSA) invites you to an important Business Luncheon on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, featuring Hon. Susan Rodrigues, Minister of Tourism, Industry & Commerce, and H.E. Nicole Theriot, U.S. Ambassador to Guyana. Under the theme “Building the Bridge: Local Capacity, Global Partnership,” the luncheon will bring together policymakers and the private sector for a focused discussion on the opportunities available to Guyanese businesses as the economy continues to expand.

Minister Rodrigues will address how Government is supporting Guyanese SMEs to become investment-ready and export-ready. Her presentation will provide businesses with insight into the Government's approach to strengthening small businesses as an important foundation for sustainable economic growth.

U.S. Ambassador Theriot will focus on what US–Guyanese collaboration looks like in practice, including where American companies are investing, what they look for in local partners and suppliers, and how these relationships can create opportunities for Guyanese manufacturers and service providers to move up the value chain. 

The luncheon will provide businesses with an opportunity to gain knowledge, make valuable connections, and better understand how they can position themselves to participate in emerging investment, supply-chain, and export opportunities.
